Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector seeks a Field Service Representative with SECRET clearance for JBLM, WA, to support the IFPC Inc 2 launcher/interceptor and related equipment on-site. As part of a multidisciplinary CLS team, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site services, with deployment training and occasional nonstandard shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Understand basic software networking and configure software/hardware for tests.
• Upload and verify software packages and updates for launcher/interceptor.
• Meet deployment standards per DoD instructions (DoD Instruction 3020.41).
• Must have a valid U.S. Passport (Blue Book) with no travel restrictions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct services, HW configuration, HW/SW troubleshooting, and HW/SW installation.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and failure troubleshooting above end-user level (software, hardware, cabling, electrical, networks).
• Recommend courses of action to customer, end-user and peers based on experience.
• Create, update and complete Work Orders; verify maintenance reports.
• Read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Handle and inspect electrostatic sensitive devices.
• Support ongoing training with technical trainers for readiness.
• Understand customer expectations to provide best support; focus on mission and goals.
• Establish trust with customer, end-user and partners through open communication.
• Demonstrate discipline, adaptability, attention to detail, judgement, initiative and collaboration.
