Position Description:

Our Field Service Engineers employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology. Responsibilities include installing, updating, performing preventative maintenance, and other services on medical devices such as infusion pumps and batteries in hospitals across the US, while delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance technical skills in the medical device industry.

This is a 100% travel position. Local, Regional, and National travel required.
  • Provide ongoing communication and support to hospital staff.
  • Organize, test, and update medical devices, install, and configure hardware, software, and network products.
  • Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests post-installation.
  • Document and submit daily data, maintaining high standards of support documentation.
  • Full-time commitment with local, regional, and national travel.
  • Schedule based on assignments, with 40 hours per week and overtime as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
  • Associate degree, military training, or equivalent biomedical/technical field service experience (3-5 years).
  • Strong computer skills with troubleshooting ability across multiple software programs.
  • Professional communication and business acumen.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently or in teams.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Active, unrestricted driver’s license, and personal vehicle for local work.
  • Ability to sit, stand for long periods, and lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements, including vaccination proof.
  • Must reside within 45 minutes to 1 hour of a major airport; weekly travel required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
