Modern Machining Solutions Inc in East Hanover, NJ is seeking a Field Service Technician to support control systems across the NJ/NYC region. You will install panels, troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, and VFDs, and read schematics as part of a regional service team.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, English communication, and a valid driver's license. A company vehicle is provided, with overtime opportunities and a background check/drug screen.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen and able to communicate clearly in English.
• Resident within commuting distance of East Hanover, NJ.
• Experience with Panel Wiring, PLCs, HMI and motor drives preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot to component level.
• Background check and drug screen will be performed.

PLESE NOTE:

Need to be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Only local NJ/NYC area people will be considered. Must reside within commuting distance of the East Hanover New Jersey area. This is a Field Service position with a company vehicle, so a good driving record is required.

To qualify for this position you need to have knowledge/experience with Panel Wiring, PLCs. HMI, Motor Drives, Control Systems, Variable Frequency Drives, and other related equipment. Experience troubleshooting electronics to the component level would be a plus. The company designs, installs, and services a variety of control systems and electronic drives. You will be a full-time member of their regional service team.

This company has been in business over 40 years, and has an excellent reputation in the industry. There is the ability to earn as much as an additional $20K annually with overtime. Company will test you on your ability to read schematics, troubleshoot to component level, and will do a background check & drug screen.

Starting Base salary in the $65K - $85K range (depending on experience), plus overtime (Overtime can add another $10K - $20K annually), and a company vehicle.
