Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Field Service technician in the East Hanover, NJ area to install, service, and troubleshoot complex control systems in the field.

You will work with Panel Wiring, PLCs, HMI, motor drives, and VFDs, reading schematics and diagnosing issues on-site. A company vehicle is provided, and overtime opportunities can boost earnings in addition to a starting base salary of $65,000 to $85,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience with panel wiring, PLCs, HMI, and motor drives.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics to component level.
• Knowledge of control systems and variable frequency drives.

Responsibilities

• Service, install and troubleshoot control systems and electronic drives in the field.
• Read schematics and diagnose issues on-site.
• Coordinate with customers and ensure effective device operation.

PLESE NOTE:

Need to be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Only local NJ/NYC area people will be considered. Must reside within commuting distance of the East Hanover New Jersey area. This is a Field Service position with a company vehicle, so a good driving record is required.

To qualify for this position you need to have knowledge/experience with Panel Wiring, PLCs. HMI, Motor Drives, Control Systems, Variable Frequency Drives, and other related equipment. Experience troubleshooting electronics to the component level would be a plus. The company designs, installs, and services a variety of control systems and electronic drives. You will be a full-time member of their regional service team.

This company has been in business over 40 years, and has an excellent reputation in the industry. There is the ability to earn as much as an additional $20K annually with overtime. Company will test you on your ability to read schematics, troubleshoot to component level, and will do a background check & drug screen.

Starting Base salary in the $65K - $85K range (depending on experience), plus overtime (Overtime can add another $10K - $20K annually), and a company vehicle.
