Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician in the East Hanover, NJ area. The role requires US citizenship, clear English communication, and residence within commuting distance of East Hanover.

You will work on panel wiring, PLCs, HMI, motor drives, and control systems, with opportunity to troubleshoot down to component level. Starting base salary ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 plus overtime potential of $10,000–$20,000 and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of panel wiring and field wiring practices.
• Experience with PLCs, HMI, motor drives and variable frequency drives.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics to component level.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and troubleshoot control systems and electronic drives at customer sites.
• Read schematics and diagnose electrical/electronic faults down to components.
• Travel within the NJ/NYC area with a company vehicle and maintain a good driving record.

PLESE NOTE:

Need to be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to communicate clearly in English. Only local NJ/NYC area people will be considered. Must reside within commuting distance of the East Hanover New Jersey area. This is a Field Service position with a company vehicle, so a good driving record is required.

To qualify for this position you need to have knowledge/experience with Panel Wiring, PLCs. HMI, Motor Drives, Control Systems, Variable Frequency Drives, and other related equipment. Experience troubleshooting electronics to the component level would be a plus. The company designs, installs, and services a variety of control systems and electronic drives. You will be a full-time member of their regional service team.

This company has been in business over 40 years, and has an excellent reputation in the industry. There is the ability to earn as much as an additional $20K annually with overtime. Company will test you on your ability to read schematics, troubleshoot to component level, and will do a background check & drug screen.

Starting Base salary in the $65K - $85K range (depending on experience), plus overtime (Overtime can add another $10K - $20K annually), and a company vehicle.
