Job summary

Trident Systems in the Washington, DC area seeks a Field Service Engineer to support installation, integration, upgrades, maintenance, testing, and training on IT and C4ISR infrastructure at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling. The role includes occasional NCR site work and documenting procedures.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one, and the capacity to troubleshoot, install, and configure complex systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related experience (or 6 total years in lieu of a degree).
• Active Secret level government security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+.
• Ability to read and edit technical installation documents and maintenance bulletins.
• Experience with Windows-based systems and technical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, integration, configuration, testing, and documentation of infrastructure.
• Provide operational support for command centers and conference centers.
• Lead technology assignments and troubleshoot issues independently.
• Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized equipment repair and services.
• Interact daily with customers and document actions taken.
