Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking an Engineering Technician III in US-MD St. Inigoes to support design, fabrication, installation, integration, and testing of C5ISR systems on air platforms or ground mobile communications.

Requires an Associate of Applied Science and at least five years of relevant experience; US citizenship and a Secret security clearance are required. This position is contingent upon funding.

Qualifications

• Associates of applied science in engineering or an engineering related discipline and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Constructing components, subunits, or simple models; may troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Following layouts and diagrams to assemble devices and subunits.
• Conducting tests and experiments, modifying test setups as needed and recording data.
• Extracting and compiling engineering data from field notes and reports; identify data issues.
• Assists in design modification by compiling data on design, specs, and materials.

Responsibilities

• Participates in design, fabrication, integration, and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical packaging.
• Performs detailed CAD-driven design tasks; creates schematics for boards and assemblies.
• Oversees on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of company products and equipment.
• Provides technical support to customers on operation and maintenance.
