Job summary

Zeeco is seeking a Service Engineer who will spend about 60% of their time traveling to installation sites to supervise burner and related equipment installations, perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, start-up and tuning, and troubleshoot Zeeco combustion systems.

When not in the field, this role may involve work at Zeeco's test facility or collaboration with other engineering teams if based in Tulsa, OK.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and P&ID diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions for burner or related equipment problems in the field with minimal supervision.
• Communicate professionally with plant managers, technicians, and Zeeco staff.
• Supervise and manage contractors on site.
• Manage workflow to meet customer expectations while on site.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure proper installation and operation of Zeeco systems.
• Perform start-up, operation and troubleshooting of combustion systems and equipment.
• Create and submit detailed on-site reports.
