Hithium Energy Storage Technology USA Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to lead on-site installation, commissioning and maintenance of BESS projects. You will act as the primary technical expert and customer liaison, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery and minimal downtime.

Requirements include 3+ years of experience with high-voltage electrical systems, inverter and SCADA knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 75% to remote sites. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems including high-voltage systems, inverters, transformers, BESS, power electronics and SCADA.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME) or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and English-language technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work safely in harsh outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site technical expert and primary customer point of contact for BESS projects.
• Lead end-to-end on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and communication system faults to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers for aligned project delivery.
