Job Juncture is seeking a full-time Field Service Engineer to support electrical and control systems for automated printing equipment. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and service equipment on-site at customer sites across North America, with some international travel for training and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field service experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• Experience with electrical systems, PLCs, servo drives, sensors.
• Travel across North America with possible international travel.
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Interface with clients and contractors to plan, schedule, and execute project activities.
• On-Site Activities: Test, maintain, and repair electrical systems, components, and automated machinery, while providing daily support to both the internal parts department and customers.
• Field Service & Technical Support: Install, debug, and start-up printing machines; perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs; provide on-site assistance and training to customer operators, maintenance teams, and technicians for installations, troubleshooting, and system issues.
• Electrical / Engineering Duties: Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC/HMI code, and control panel layouts; troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, sensors, and industrial networks; support retrofit projects and engineering upgrades.
• Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to electrical, control, and mechanical systems.
• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, service records, and recommended solutions.
• Safety Enforcement: Ensure adherence to safety protocols both in-house and at customer sites.
• Communication: Clearly convey technical information, project updates, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical personnel.
