Job summary

HMH in Odessa, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot our automated drilling systems on onshore/offshore rigs. You will interpret engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics, provide customer training, and promote adherence to the HSE Management System.

You will lead safety initiatives, perform equipment installations, and coordinate with clients to maximize uptime while maintaining strong service records and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with technical/field service experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a technical or field service role.
• Experience in electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to test and repair equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and installation of equipment.
• Provide on-site and phone support to customers as needed.
• Coordinate service activities with clients to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Maintain inventory and proper handover notes; ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Lead safety activities and participate in JSA and PTW processes.
