Job summary

HMH in Odessa, TX is seeking a Field Service Technician to safely install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot our automated drilling systems and related equipment on onshore/offshore rigs. You will apply advanced knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, provide training to customers and crews, and ensure adherence to HSSE standards while building strong customer relationships.

Travel to customer sites is required to perform troubleshooting and service, with a focus on safety,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year of experience in a technical or field services role.
• Commitment to Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Service Manager on day-to-day management and long-range stewardship.
• Testing and repairing equipment by traveling to customer locations.
• Providing troubleshooting as well as installation of equipment.
• Attending to customer needs as required.
• Ensuring the equipment is functional after service.
• Providing on-call telephone support for troubleshooting when needed.
