Job summary

STS Aviation Group is hiring a Field Service Engineer to conduct on-site evaluations of electrical distribution systems and provide arc flash and electrical training. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of a major airport and be ready for 50 to 70 percent overnight travel across the U.S.

The role includes performing power system studies, managing customer projects, and providing training on arc flash principles as a Subject Matter Expert. A Bachelor's degree or substantial experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering or related field experience.
• Expertise in arc flash safety, assessments, and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical power system engineering studies.
• Manage assigned customer projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Conduct on-site electrical system assessments and audits.
