Job summary

Guidant Power is seeking an experienced data collector to travel to customer sites and collect information on electrical distribution systems.

You will read diagrams, document equipment, and perform LIM/ATS tests in critical environments such as hospitals and data centers, while maintaining strict safety procedures.

The role is 100% travel with a flexible schedule and full benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience with arc flash evaluations, LIM or ATS is a plus.
• Ability to travel with a valid driver’s license and willingness to fly.
• Read and understand one-line diagrams and identify components.
• Proficient with laptops/tablets and standard office apps (Drive/Sheets/PDF).

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to conduct arc flash evaluations.
• Open equipment and record information via photos and paperwork.
• Read and edit one-line drawings to create accurate as-built drawings.
• Test and document LIMs and ATS equipment per procedures.
• Use online storage and spreadsheets to manage data.
• Communicate with engineering and customers to ensure accuracy.
• Apply labels to electrical equipment.
• Maintain professional conduct as the company interface with customers.
• Describe distribution systems for engineers to model.
• Work across diverse sites from factories to data centers.
