Job summary

PAC is a global provider of analytical instruments serving the hydrocarbon processing industries. The Field Service Technician will install, calibrate, repair, and maintain instruments at customer sites across the West/Northwest US, with frequent travel domestically and internationally.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills are essential to support customers and drive PAC’s growth. The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, five years’ experience with analytical

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in chemistry or electronic; or equivalent experience.
  • Technical B.S. degree is a plus.
  • Minimum five years’ experience with analytical equipment for Petrochemical industry; or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, repair and maintain PAC Physical Properties instruments at customer sites.
  • Provide telephone support as needed.
  • Perform calibration and checks per ASTM or methods; ensure analyzers meet specs.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of field equipment.
  • Assist sales with PAC products and services; upsell where appropriate.
  • Provide customer training and technical support on applications.
  • Mentor less experienced field service personnel and customers.
