PAC is seeking a self-motivated Field Service Technician to maintain and service customer accounts in the West/Northwest U.S. The role requires traveling to other regions and internationally as needed.

You will install, calibrate, certify, repair, and maintain PAC Physical Properties instruments at customer sites, and provide product training to customers. You will build strong customer relationships, assist with application troubleshooting, and support PAC’s growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in chemistry or electronics or equivalent.
• Technical B.S. degree is a plus.
• Minimum five years’ experience working with analytical equipment for the Petrochemical industry; or equivalent experience and education.
• Knowledge of the petroleum/refining industry and ASTM methods associated with testing protocol as related to PAC instruments a plus.
• Two years relevant field service experience preferred.
• Prefer experience with Distillation, Flash Point, Cold Flow, Thermal Oxidation, Sulfur analysis.

Responsabilités

• Installs, calibrates, and repairs PAC Physical Properties instruments at customer sites.
• Provides product training to customers and builds strong relationships.
• Collaborates with sales to upsell/cross-sell PAC products and services.
• Performs preventive/corrective maintenance and testing per ASTM methods.
• Maintains documentation, inventory, and service reports.
• Travels 90% of the time; may require international travel.
