Job summary

East Coast Metrology (ECM) is seeking a Field Service Engineer willing to travel and work on-site at customer sites across the United States, with 80% or more travel and occasional international assignments. You will work with advanced laser trackers, portable arms, 3D scanners, and metrology software to solve precision measurement challenges.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and calibrate equipment, analyze dimensional data, and report findings.

Qualifications

• Experience with laser trackers, portable arms, 3D scanners or CMMs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PolyWorks or PC-DMIS.
• Blueprint reading and dimensional inspection skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments.
• Independent, adaptable and travel-ready.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser trackers, portable arms, and 3D scanners.
• Perform precision inspections using blueprints and 3D CAD models.
• Capture, analyze, and report dimensional measurement data.
• Travel to customer sites across the U.S. with occasional international assignments.
• Work at customer sites, manufacturing facilities, labs, and our in-house facility.
