Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites across the Northeast and the U.S. to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair Fischer XRF and materials testing equipment.

The role includes diagnosing electronic and mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and verifying instrument performance. You will train customers on proper operation and provide technical support both onsite and remotely, while working independently in customer

On a typical day, they diagnose electronic and mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, verify instrument performance, train customers on proper operation, and provide technical support both onsite and remotely. This role is highly hands-on, requires independent work in customer environments, and involves frequent travel with overnight stays while ensuring equipment operates reliably and meets regulatory requirements.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
