Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a growing manufacturer in the Seattle, WA area. The role is a direct hire with a pay range of $80,000–$88,000. This is a remote position with travel required, including possible travel to other markets.

The engineer will install and repair machines and accessory equipment, with company benefits available. The position requires installation of new machines, CMM service, and handling weekly service reports and expenses.

Qualifications

• Electrical aptitude and soldering skills.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Prior metrology experience required.
• Knowledge of CMMs.
• Willingness to travel 75%

Responsibilities

• Install new machines and product installations.
• Electrical and mechanical CMM service.
• All weekly paperwork such as service reports, timesheets, call reports and expense reports.
• Dealer support and training.
• Customer training.
• Trade show support including set up and tear down.
• Represent company professionally to customers at all times

Field Service Engineer areas of responsibility include:

• New machine and product installations
• Electrical and mechanical CMM service
• All weekly paperwork such as service reports, timesheets, call reports and expense reports.
• Dealer support and training
• Customer training
• Trade show support including set up and tear down
• All other duties as required
• Professionally represent company to customers at all times

Qualifications for the Field Service Engineer:

• Electrical aptitude, soldering skills
• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Prior metrology experience required
• Knowledge of CMM’s
• Strong customer service skills
• Must be open to travel anywhere where required, 75% travel
