Job description

Mammoth Equipment is on a growth trajectory, driven by our exceptional product, a stellar team, and a robust organizational culture. Established in 1974, we've expanded our presence to offices in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico, and Argentina. Globally, we provide a diverse range of cutting‑edge, tailor‑made, and versatile solutions for the mining, transport, rail, industrial, agriculture, and marine sectors. Our innovations not only safeguard people and the environment but also contribute to prolonged machinery and equipment life, ensuring enhanced performance and durability.

As a subsidiary of Mammoth Equipment and Exhaust Inc., Stallion Marine is dedicated to setting new standards in marine engineering. Our team is driven by a passion for innovation, precision, and reliability, striving to empower marine professionals with cutting‑edge solutions. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and lasting customer relationships, Stallion Marine is committed to integrity and success in the marine industry.

If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy solving technical challenges, and want a career that takes you across ports, rivers, and oceans, this role is for you. You don’t need previous marine experience — just solid technical ability, a solutions mindset, and readiness to learn.

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll install, inspect, and modify thermal insulation systems on marine exhaust equipment. You’ll lead or assist small field teams, ensure safety compliance, and act as the face of Stallion Marine on site. The work is varied: sometimes you’re taking 3D measurements in a shipyard, other times fabricating adjustments in our mobile “blanket shop” trailer on location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, measure, and inspect exhaust insulation and thermal blankets on marine engines and piping
  • Take accurate field measurements using hand tools and 3D scanners for new or replacement components
  • Operate a mobile “blanket shop” trailer for minor fabrication and blanket adjustments on site
  • Lead small project crews, delegate tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met
  • Document work with photos, sketches, and inspection reports
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally
Qualifications
  • Mechanical or technical background in trades such as industrial service, automotive, HVAC, or fabrication
  • Strong troubleshooting and decision‑making ability in the field
  • Skilled with basic tools, measurements, and interpreting technical drawings
  • Computer literacy for simple documentation and reporting
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (domestic and international)
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights following strict safety protocols
  • This is a full‑time permanent
  • Warren NJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
