Job summary

Lionheart Critical Power is seeking a skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance on industrial generators, transfer switches, and fire pump engines at our Indianapolis shop location. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a mechanical or electrical trade, strong knowledge of engines and electrical systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical or electrical trade.
• Solid hands-on knowledge of engines, motors, and electrical systems.
• Technical degree or certification preferred but not required.
• Willingness and ability to lift 130 lbs and work long hours as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on industrial generators, transfer switches, and fire pump engines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Communicate directly with clients, chief engineers, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with the field service team and administrative staff.
• Load, unload, and transport heavy tools and equipment up to 130 lbs.
• Drive and maneuver trailers in varied conditions.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for emergencies and after-hours service.
• Attend company-paid continuing education and certifications.
