Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; Associate degree with experience considered.
  • 5–10 years of equipment troubleshooting, calibration, or repair experience.
  • Experience servicing analytical or laboratory instrumentation.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and word-processing software.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and optimize hardware, software, and network-connected products at customer sites.
  • Perform routine and complex maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory and process equipment.
  • Diagnose performance issues and recommend solutions that improve equipment reliability.
  • Provide customer training and technical guidance to enhance proper equipment use and preventative care.
  • Respond proactively to potential issues to minimize downtime and unplanned business interruptions.
  • Serve as a technical resource for colleagues and customers, occasionally mentoring other field engineers.
  • Support high‑volume customer locations with on‑site calibration services.
  • Ensure professional, timely communication and a strong customer service experience.
