Job summary

6 Degrees Search in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support medical laboratory analyzers. The role focuses on installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of automated lab instrumentation in the greater Cleveland area.

The candidate should have a strong electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background, be able to travel overnight, and maintain customer relations. A background in servicing medical instrumentation is a plus, with vaccination required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS degree in electronics.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools and spare parts.
• Provide basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greaterCLEVELAND, OHarea. Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.
