Job summary

Job Juncture in Cleveland is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical lab analyzers and automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater Cleveland area. This role includes installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance with a focus on electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.

Candidates need a Certificate or AAS in electronics and at least 3 years of field experience, plus willingness to travel overnight and full COVID-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.

• Maintain car inventory and trunk stock.
• Provide on-site training on instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater CLEVELAND, OH area

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater CLEVELAND, OH area. Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.
• Base salary 65K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, probably more).
