Job summary

WGNSTAR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment in Chandler, AZ. The role demands strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, the ability to read electrical diagrams, and travel across facilities as required.

The position is full-time with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Applicants must have AS/BS or military equivalent and a valid driver’s license; travel up to 80% (domestic or international)

Qualifications

Schedule: Days, but may vary subject to customers’ demands and requirements
Pay Rate: $28-$32+/hr DOE
Location: Chandler, AZ
Travel: 80% - domestic or occasional international travel.
Position Type: Full Time

Principal duties and responsibilities will be:

• Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment problems
• Utilizes electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers.
• Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Comprehends test equipment including various test meters, hand and power tools.
• Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.

Requirements:

• Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Maintenance Technician skills with solid experiences in resolving tool related challenges.
• Previous semiconductor experience is preferred.
• AS/BS or equivalent military.
• 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel/and or occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Physical Effort/Activities:
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
