You are...

As a Field Service Representative and key member of the Eastern Region service team, you provide on-site service including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will report to the Eastern Region Service Manager in Ashland, VA. Your location is ideally near Baltimore, MD but other major cities in the territory are possible.

The base salary range for this position is $31.65-$35.80 per hour and depends on technical and service experience within the analytical instrumentation field. Anton Paar USA offers full benefits and a profit-sharing contribution to your 401k retirement savings. We offer a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years plus additional bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Your responsibilities include:

• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of instruments at customer sites within the assigned region.
• Managing inventory, trip planning, and administrative tasks related to service functions.
• Travel (up to 75%, including overnight) for service and maintenance.

Skills and qualifications you will need:

• 2 years experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
• Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools.
• Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and passport.
