Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain automated medical laboratory analyzers in the greater Atlanta area. The role requires hands-on electronics expertise and a strong customer-relations approach.

Candidates must have a certificate or AAS in electronics, 3+ years of field service experience, be willing to travel overnight, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Experience servicing medical instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts)
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater ATLANTA, GA area, EAST / SOUTHEAST of ATLANTA

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greaterAtlanta , GAarea.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
