Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers and automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater Atlanta, GA area. The role requires a solid electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting background with overnight travel and a minimum of 3 years in field service.

The position includes installation, maintenance, and on-site training, with a comprehensive benefits package and potential for overtime and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics or related field required.
• Strong electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Overnight travel required.
• Minimum 3 years as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or instrumentation is a plus.
• Candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish strong customer relations and service quality.
• Coordinate issue resolution within Field Support Group.
• Maintain inventory of tools and parts in the vehicle.
• Provide on-site basic training on company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater ATLANTA, GA area, EAST / SOUTHEAST of ATLANTA

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greaterAtlanta , GAarea.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Providesbasic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation
