Job summary

Compass Resourcing Group, LLC seeks a Field Service Specialist to perform electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs at customer facilities across Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia. The role involves troubleshooting, reading schematics, and supporting safety programs in varied environments such as data centers and substations.

Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma (Electrical/Electronic tech preferred) and can travel overnight about 20% of the time.

Qualifications

Requires a High School Diploma or GED; technical education preferred.
Electrical substation testing/maintenance experience preferred but not required.
Willingness to relocate within 60 miles; able to travel overnight for projects.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, upgrades, and repairs onsite at customer facilities.
Read manuals/schematics; troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
Troubleshoot and repair components in substations; support safety and training.
Possess ability to travel overnight for multi-day projects as needed.
Participate in safety meetings and reporting obligations.
