Job summary

Custom Truck One Source – Atlanta is seeking a Field Service Technician / Mechanic with a background in truck-mounted hydraulics and diesel equipment to diagnose, repair, and maintain CTOS equipment at customer sites, with occasional shop support. You will travel within and beyond your territory, bring your own tools, and leverage a company-provided service truck, diagnostic tools, and laptops.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of related experience (field or shop tech).
• CDL Class B preferred.
• Must provide your own mechanic tools.
• Travel 25-50%+.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain truck-mounted equipment.
• Troubleshoot bucket trucks, digger derricks, and cranes.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on-site.
• Read manuals, schematics, and repair orders.
• Use diagnostic software and laptops for diagnostics.
• Complete and document repair orders and timecards.
• Communicate with customers and CTOS teams to minimize downtime.
• Travel within and beyond assigned territory.
