Job summary

Custom Truck One Source is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to diagnose and repair heavy utility equipment in the field. You will service bucket trucks, cranes, digger derricks, and related units, traveling to customer sites as needed.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, tool ownership, and the ability to interpret manuals and diagnostic data. Overtime, travel, and safety training are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Five years of related experience (Shop Tech and Field Tech).
• Must hold a valid driver’s license (CDL Class B preferred).
• Must have your own tools.
• Proficient in documentation using software, meeting deadlines and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the field expert diagnosing and repairing specialized utility equipment.
• Work on bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, service trucks, and related equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain aerial, construction, and light/heavy-duty truck systems.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, parts replacement, and repairs on rental, customer, and company units.
