Dobbs Equipment in Ladson, SC is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to repair, diagnose, overhaul and maintain heavy equipment. You will work from job orders, follow safety rules, and service customer and dealership equipment, potentially including travel for emergencies.

Expect to install and repair hydraulic systems, read schematics, and document work; a two-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Flexible schedule and training travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or 2+ years related experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge with ability to read manuals.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Repair, diagnose, overhaul and maintain heavy equipment and components.
• Plan work procedures from job orders and safety rules.
• Install, replace and test mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain service records and communicate needs to Service Manager.
• Work up to 12-hour days and occasional overtime or weekends as required.
