Acorn Distributors, Inc. seeks a Service Center Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the shop and at customer sites. You will provide quality service, diagnose issues, and use repair data to prepare quotes.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, keeping tools/parts available, and maintaining service records. A high school diploma and OSHA certification, plus a valid driver’s license, are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years work experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mobile equipment.
• Experience working with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems preferred.
• Experience working directly with customers on service-related activities.
• Must receive certification from Acorn Distributors, Inc on all equipment required by OSHA.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on products and machinery.
• Maintain proper tools, parts, and supplies in their service vehicles so they’re on hand to accurately diagnose and solve customer’s equipment issues.
• Maintain records of all service activities and business reporting by using customer order logs, service agreements, and repair orders.
• Efficiently manage inventory levels to minimize return trips to customers.
• Properly communicate customer preventative maintenance schedules and service needs.
• Estimate machine repair requirements and prepare necessary data to provide an accurate quote to customers.
• Understand and manage expenses within the service operation.
