Job summary

Acorn Stairlifts, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install stairlift systems in customers’ homes. You will perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections while delivering high-quality workmanship and friendly, professional service.

You’ll manage schedules, complete documentation on a mobile device, and maintain an organized vehicle and parts inventory, upholding safety and company standards in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain Acorn stairlift systems in customers’ homes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and annual safety inspections with quality workmanship.
• Provide professional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance.
• Work independently within a territory, manage schedules, work orders, and documentation on a mobile device.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle and manage parts inventory.
• Follow safety procedures and represent Acorn professionally.
