Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Deployment Coordinator at our Maple Grove, MN hybrid location. You will be the principal liaison for customer experience and the deployment of Field Service Technicians across the US and Canada for ZEISS machine installations, calibrations, repairs, relocations, and loaner equipment.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Technical Support, and Customer Care to schedule technicians by skill and availability, process requests, and build quotes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in service dispatch and support in a technical or troubleshooting environment preferred.
• Associate degree or 3+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Lync.
• Knowledge of Innosoft, SAP and CRM or similar dispatching software preferred.
• Experience communicating with internal/external customers by phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Schedule field service technicians across the US/Canada for machine installations, calibrations, repairs, pack/move, loaner equipment and shows.
• Communicate status and scheduling with customers; coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Support.
• Interface with Operations, Projects, Billing, and Service Managers to meet customer requirements.
• Review and process job requests, including PO, pricing, quotes; document special instructions.
• Collaborate with Technical Support to build relocations and repair quotes.
• Maintain open customer files and attach relevant correspondence.
• Coordinate with Tools Department to track and ship specialty tools.
• Inform Regional Service Manager of developments and escalations.
• Document direct customer interactions for the company database; participate in training.
