Position Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Field Service Coordinator to support our field service operations. As the Field Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of service requests, coordinating technician schedules, and maintaining effective communication with both internal teams and external clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of field service technicians to fulfill service requests. Ensure timely and efficient allocation of resources while optimizing travel routes to maximize productivity.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing status updates, and confirming service appointments. Maintain clear and open communication to manage customer expectations effectively.
  • Receive and process service requests, ensuring accurate documentation of all relevant details. Prioritize and assign tasks to field service technicians based on urgency and technician availability.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service activities, including work orders, service reports, and customer interactions. Input data into the field service management system to track progress and generate reports.
  • Provide basic technical support to clients over the phone, troubleshooting minor issues, and offering guidance as needed. Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate team members.
  • Collaborate with the Field Service Manager to ensure the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and materials for technicians to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Generate regular reports on service activities, technician performance, and service request status for management review. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist in monitoring the quality of service delivery, ensuring that field service technicians adhere to established standards and protocols. Gather feedback from clients to assess their satisfaction with the services provided.
  • Provide administrative assistance, such as filing, document management, and office organization, to support the smooth operation of the field service department.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in administrative or coordination roles, preferably within a field service or technical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and field service management tools.
  • Basic technical knowledge or aptitude to understand technical terminology and concepts.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external clients.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to occasionally travel for on-site coordination.
