Job summary

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, is seeking a Field Service Control Systems Engineer to join our customer-focused field service team. You will support process control solutions for industrial customers, including DCS configuration, commissioning, startup, and tuning at sites.

This role requires travel to customer facilities, strong problem solving, clear reporting, and collaboration with engineering and sales teams to deliver reliable control system performance and digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years in the control system engineering field.
• Experience with DeltaV is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 65%.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for DCS configuration, commissioning, startup, and tuning.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot control systems and field instruments.
• Lead preventive maintenance visits and prepare engineering reports.
• Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to deliver solutions.
• Develop operator training and customer interfaces.
