Job summary

WorkRocket in Southern California is seeking a Field Service Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. You will install, start-up, and service CNC machines and automated equipment at customer sites, traveling up to 90% with a focus on uptime and quality.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in industrial maintenance or 3 years on 5-axis CNC machines, a stable work history, and the ability to travel. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or at least 3 years of mechanical experience on 5-axis CNC machines.
• Stable job history and ability to travel 90% of the time.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer installation needs and service issues, including emergencies.
• Assemble, start-up, and service CNC machines and automated equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machine errors; read mechanical/hydraulic/electrical drawings and prints.
• Read NC programming codes (G-code, M-functions) and tool layouts.
• Maintain safety and quality while supporting field operations.
