Job summary

The Richmond Group USA is seeking a Field Service Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a global automation leader in Southern California. You will install, service, and troubleshoot CNC machines and related equipment at customer sites, traveling up to 90% of the time.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance or 3+ years with 5-axis CNC machines, with a proven background and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience OR at least 3 years of mechanical experience on 5-axis CNC machines.
• Ability to travel 90% of the time.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer installation needs and service issues, including emergencies.
• Assemble, install, start up, and commission CNC machines per company standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machine and equipment issues.
• Read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints and drawings.
• Interpret NC programs, including G-code and M-functions.
• Provide prompt, professional on-site service.
