Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in San Jose, CA seeks Field Service Engineer I/II - Calibration Technician to perform calibrations, qualifications, preventive maintenance and repairs on pipettes and small lab instrumentation. Travel to customer sites as needed and maintain parts inventory.

Candidates hold a science degree, zero to three years experience, strong troubleshooting, valid driver's license, and ability to work Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's orAssociate degree in a related science field (chemistry, analytical chemistry, electronic engineering, biotechnology) preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
• Must be able to travel within customer territory up to 5 days per week and stay on site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration/qualification and preventive maintenance on pipettes and small lab instruments.
• Travel to customer sites to perform calibrations and PMs.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in field and lab settings.
• Manage personal parts inventory and provide timely service feedback to management.
