Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in San Jose, CA is seeking a Field Service Engineer I/II - Calibration Technician to perform calibrations, qualifications, preventive maintenance and repairs on pipettes and small laboratory instruments.

The role requires travel up to 5 days a week, ability to lift equipment, valid driver's license, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Schedule is full-time, first shift, M-F 8am-4pm, not remote, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related science field with 0–3 years experience for FSE I/II.
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Physical ability to lift and transport equipment and work in various lab environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration/qualification and preventive maintenance on pipettes and small lab instruments.
• Travel to customer sites to calibrate and PM as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in field and lab.
• Maintain inventory of parts and document activities timely.
