Job summary

MultiMedical Systems is seeking a Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician to support clinical environments with hands-on maintenance and regulatory compliance for medical devices. You will work closely with healthcare teams to ensure equipment operates reliably and safely across sites.

The role requires 2+ years of hospital experience, an Associate degree in biomedical engineering (or related field), and a valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and regulatory requirements.

Safety Requirements:

• Maintain a safe working environment for self and others if they come in contact within the biomed area in accordance with the facility’s policies
• Must follow OSHA guidelines in regard to blood borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, radiation, sharp instruments and/or tools, hazardous liquids, and operating devices
• Ontime completion of safety trainings assignments
• Must have sensory ability to distinguish hot & cold ranges of temperature, surfaces, fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and detect/distinguish colors
• Must be able be able to carry or lift up to 50 pounds routinely
