Job summary

MultiMedical Systems is seeking a Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician I/II in Gallup, NM to service medical devices across hospital settings. You will perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, diagnostics, and parts installation while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent, 2+ years of biomedical equipment experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair in a hospital setting.

Summary:

The Field Service Biomedical Equipment Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for medical equipment. The technician will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that medical equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory requirements.

Safety Requirements:

• Maintain a safe working environment for self and others if they come in contact within the biomed area in accordance with the facility’s policies
• Must follow OSHA guidelines in regard to blood borne pathogens, airborne pathogens, radiation, sharp instruments and/or tools, hazardous liquids, and operating devices
• Must have sensory ability to distinguish hot & cold ranges of temperature, surfaces, fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and detect/distinguish colors
• Must be able be able to carry or lift up to 50 pounds routinely
