Job summary

Ernest is seeking a Client Automation Specialist to join our Denver Division, performing on-site installation, service, and maintenance of packaging and warehouse equipment for clients within the Reno area. The role blends hands-on mechanical and electrical work with strong customer service.

You’ll train customers, diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, manage parts inventory, and stay current with new equipment lines.

Qualifications

Exceptional customer service and communication skills in client-facing scenarios.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting ability.
Military or equivalent training providing electrical/mechanical experience is valued.
Ability to source replacement parts from multiple vendors and meet client needs.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain packaging and warehouse equipment at client sites.
Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime.
Provide warranty support and train customers on operation and care.
Oversee start-up/commissioning of newly sold equipment and ensure proper functionality.
Maintain accurate service records and assist with billing for services performed.
Promote preventative maintenance programs and manage parts inventory.
Travel to client sites within the designated service area and communicate needs to management.
