Job summary

Manatal is seeking a Security Technician to perform hands-on field installations of access control, CCTV, and low‑voltage security infra- structure. You will read plans, explain systems to customers, and work independently or with a crew while guiding junior technicians.

You will install and troubleshoot card readers, door hardware, and low‑voltage wiring, and ensure systems function correctly from day one. Experience with major security brands is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting access control, CCTV, and security camera systems.
• Familiar with brands such as Lenel, Brivo, CCURE 9000, Genetec, DMP, and Avigilon.
• Ability to read security drawings and communicate design to customers and crews.
• OSHA 10 certified; valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot access control, CCTV, paging, and door hardware per plans.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and scope documents for field work.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and guide junior technicians on installations.
• Terminate and test copper/fiber runs; maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure safety while working at heights and with low‑voltage systems.
