Job summary

Insight Global seeks Security Technician II to support installation and deployment projects in hyperscale data centers, campuses, commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities. The role focuses on installation, configuration, and support of electronic security systems, with travel across the US up to 80%.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, and low-voltage cabling, and can read schematics.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience installing and servicing CCTV systems and video surveillance equipment.
Experience with access control systems (badge readers, door hardware, door controllers, mag locks).
Low-voltage cabling experience (pulling, terminating, labeling, testing Cat5e/Cat6).
Ability to read security system layouts, prints and schematics.
Experience in commercial, secure, or mission-critical environments.
Strong understanding of safety standards and site protocols.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or on a crew.
Clean driving record and ability to pass background check.
Willingness to travel across the U.S. for project-based assignments (up to a year).
