Job summary

Siemens is hiring a Security System Technician to install, program, start-up, and commission integrated security systems (CCTV, access control, sensors) in Smart Buildings across the Southeast US. Travel up to 75% is required, and you will be the face of Siemens with customers on site.

You will perform testing, reporting, and customer training, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure successful system start-up.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in installation and/or maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems.
• Understanding of network components and workstation/server OS management.
• Able to work in varied environments around mechanical equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Operational Testing, Verification, and Acceptance; run routine reports and support customer training.
• Coordinate site communications and scheduling of trade contractors for startup services as needed.
