Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Security System Technician in the United States to install, program, start-up and commission integrated security systems including CCTV, access control, and VMS. You will be the face of Siemens with regular customer interaction to ensure safe and efficient buildings.

The role requires up to 75% travel within the SE US, working in various environments around mechanical equipment and following project schedules to support start-up services and customer training.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience installing/maintaining large-scale integrated security systems (CCTV, Access Control, VMS).
• Understanding of network components and workstation/server OS management.
• Willing to work in diverse environments around mechanical equipment and outdoors/indoors in varying conditions.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license and eligible for Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Operational Testing, Verification and Acceptance; run routine reports and assist with customer training.
• Coordinate with site teams; may assist in scheduling trade contractors for start-up services.
