Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking Security System Technicians to install, program, start-up, and commission state-of-the-art integrated security systems, including CCTV/IP cameras, alarm sensors, and access control software. You will be the face of Siemens, interacting with customers to ensure safe, efficient building operations in the greater Washington, D.C.

area. Responsibilities include testing, reporting, customer training support, and coordinating with trade contractors.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience installing or maintaining large-scale integrated security systems.
• Understanding of network components and workstation/server management.
• Willing to work in varied environments around mechanical equipment and in different conditions; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license and eligible for Siemens fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Operational Testing, Verification, and Acceptance; run routine reports and assist with customer training.
• Coordinate project site communications and scheduling of trade contractors as needed.
