Amazon Web Services, Inc. is hiring a Security Engineer to work at the intersection of customer impact and AI. You will help design and ship AI-powered security capabilities behind services like Security Hub, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty, while collaborating with customers and service teams.

In this dual-facing role, you’ll conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments with security agents, and remediation guidance, shaping how Fortune 500 companies deploy cloud security at machine speed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of scripting, programming, and security code review in a non-internship role.
• 3+ years troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks using command line tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or 3+ years of IT Security experience.
• Knowledge of industry-based security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Experience in scripting, programming, and security code reviewing in a non-internship.
• Experience in troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks using command line tools.

Responsabilités

• Run early-access and gated previews of AI-powered capabilities with customers, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessment using security agents, and remediation guidance.
• Shape detection coverage and influence service roadmaps from customer insights to science and engineering teams.
• Drive detection engineering best practices, including security-value evaluation, false-positive reduction, and coverage measurement.
• Stay current with evolving cloud security threats, including AI/ML-related risks and agentic security developments.
• Collaborate across science, engineering, partner, and field teams with flexible hours for global coverage.
